Many thinks that wedding photography is just merely about pressing the expose button on a camera for a day, then download the images from the memory card and then copy them to a disc and send them by post... In the real world that's not true at all. Actually getting home after the party is just a beginning of a lengthy and hard work!
We need at least two weeks to completely remaster the digital RAW images in nothing unexpected happens. It is hard to tell, because sometimes we need more time, somtimes less. It is also depends how many other weddings we have on the table and how many images we took at the wedding. It is also affects the required time how good the make up artist was and/or what parameters the couple have (I think about small injuries on the skin, not mentioning for example one of my bridegrooms one time who broke his arm right before the wedding, fix that! :) ).
We go one by one, fine tune the colors, contrast, maybe remove disturbing elements as long as it does not affect the natural look of the pictures. With the gold package, we shoot about 2000 images, so if we spend only a minute for all of them, that's almost a rough 33 hours of retouching work.
After we are finished with the images, we will upload them to my website where you can access them via usernam and password.
Important information for my clients! Please do not send me long lists of numbers even if you letting us know which 100 or 200 images you need. It is very hard to process and can give a big chance for mistakes. The best if you select the images via our website and sent this as an order. This way it is impossible to mix them and it reduces our administration work down to a fraction of time needed otherwise. I have developed a software that does all that work.
